I am a passionate and dedicated dance teacher, professional choreographer, musical theater choreographer, and artistic director with over 20 years of experience. Dance is the love of my life.

In California I was the dance teacher at Lincoln High School-Magnet School for the Arts in San Jose. Prior to this, I was the head of a dance department at a performing arts academy in a high school in Northern Florida. I originated the dance department, and it was from my suggestion that my school became a Performing Arts Magnet Program. I was also the Head of the Lower School Dance Department at American Heritage School in South Florida, a top-tier private school. In addition, I served as the Artistic Director of the Lower School and Upper School Dance Companies.  I worked with master and iconic choreographers in New York. While teaching in New York, I was honored to serve as the Education Director of the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company. This was Lar Lubovitch’s 40th Anniversary year with performances at New York City Center, Jacob’s Pillow, the Joyce Theater, and a national tour of 22 cities. Lar Lubovitch has been hailed by The New York Times as “of the ten best choreographers in the world.”

In New York I was chosen to be a guest choreographer at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, the high school for the Performing Arts in Queens. “Nothing’s Ever Promised Tomorrow Today”, my contemporary ballet, was premiered and performed.  I was honored to share the stage with ABT, Twyla Tharp, and Robert Battle. Robert Battle was the Artistic Director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. I have been fortunate to have taught dance at such places as Northwestern University’s National High School Institute, Children’s Musical Theater San Jose, Ballet Tech; Eliot Feld’s School and Dance Company in New York, the 92nd Street Y-NYC the JCC of Manhattan choreographer of Teen Musical Theater, and Fordham High School for the Arts; high school for the performing arts in the Bronx.

I specialize in contemporary, jazz, ballet, and Broadway/Theater Dance. Because of my deep passion for the art form of dance, I have continued to study at Broadway Dance Center and STEPS on Broadway through the years. I aim to inspire my dancers every day. I bring much warmth, love, positive energy, and humor to my dance classes. I have an M.Ed. in Elementary Education, a B.A. in Dance, and a B.A. in English. In addition to being certified in EL, I am also certified in Dance, K-12 in Massachusetts, Florida, California, and New Jersey. In addition, I studied Drama at the University of Southern California. I am beyond excited to be teaching at AB Dance Center this year! I cannot wait to work with your children!
